This series of drawings developed out of Impediment: Poetical Meditations, as it borrowed the symbols created in that particular piece and divorced them from the text. Without having the underlying structure of language, each drawing is forced to stand on its own. As they progress, the drawings hint back to the original ideas of language from which they came, taking on qualities both organic and architectural. The series changes in a way similar to language; it builds upon the drawings that came before it, becoming more complex and intricate with every go.
