Born in Van Nuys, CA, Michael McParlane is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. He has exhibited and performed regionally at Space Gallery, the Three Rivers Arts Festival, PNC Park, and the Matchwood Festival. He has received several honors, including induction into Phi Beta Kappa and fellowships from the Idyllwild Arts Center, Idyllwild, CA and the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, Nebraska City, NE.
