Absurd and psychedelic, these photo collages developed along with the Blow Up series as an escapist distraction from the more serious tone of the aforementioned work. Though humorous, they also borrow compositional elements from both religious and mystical symbolism - the mandala of spread-eagle toddlers, the mouths in the center of galaxies, the boy riding the turtle through the universe.
