Masterminded by Michael Mallis, Tripping Balls is a multimedia installation / performance involving a live band, myriad projections, disco balls, sexy stuffed animals, and mustaches for everyone. The installation filled the Frame Gallery with thrift store junk and the detritus left behind by previous exhibitors. Functioning as a warped Chuck E. Cheese, Tripping Balls rolls out its paint splattered, manila carpet to visitors, inviting them to play in its ball pits, glitter sprayed bathrooms, and adult diaper predilections.
